Well folks, it is finally officially coming — What you see above is a brand new trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Unfortunately it doesn’t feature any actual gameplay but there are a ton of cinematics in addition to some appearances from Wolverine, Ryu, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man and a lot more.

Now all we need is a solid release date and we’ll be set.

tonyhawkride

After seeing how Tony Hawk: Ride was nothing short of a flop, Robomodo is going to have to do something good with their next game if they are going to continue to exist. Well, Tony Hawk has revealed the name via the below Tweet:

Tony Hawk: Shred. There, I said it. Actually, I named it. Somewhere a PR team is reeling.

It’s been said in the past that the new game will utilize the skateboard peripheral that the first game introduced. Bummer, I just want some classic Tony Hawk Pro Skater back.

As if you couldn’t guess yourself, EA‘s latest Skate title, appropriately named Skate 3, will be getting downloadable content in the future. Now, the game has yet to hit store shelves with a launch date of May 11th, 2010 so no official announcements regarding the DLC’s content was announced. However, considering Skate 2 recieved various new parks and other places to skate I think it’s safe to assume that Skate 3 will have the same.

If you want you can download the Skate 3 demo now for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

It’s becoming more and more obvious that the Wii is not a console aimed at hardcore gamers. In fact, Red Steel 2, which was expected to sell a bunch of copies because it was pretty much what everyones been asking for: a FPS for the Wii with real time sword fighting.

Well, the numbers are in and they are ridiculously disappointing; only 50,000 copies sold within the first 12 days on the market.

There’s no telling why these numbers were so low but the fact that most people who own a Wii just want to play Wii Sports, coupled with the fact that you need a Wii MotionPlus add-on to play the game probably had something to do with it. Oh yeah, did I mention there was no multiplayer?

What was once a household name is quickly becoming a forgotten franchise. The last we heard of Star Fox was back in 2006 when he made an appearance in Star Fox Command for the Nintendo DS. Why haven’t we seen a new title? You’d think Nintendo would want to release a heavy hitting title like this giving the Wii another selling point.

Well, Bayonetta‘s developer Hideki Kamiya wants to take the work off of Nintendo and develop the game himself, with the help of Platinum Games, of course.

What do you guys think? Would the same studio that made Bayonetta be able to do Star Fox justice? Let us know in the comments.

When the first Crackdown came out I bought it for the Halo 3 multiplayer beta that was included with it. I did however pop the game in a few times to check it out and found it to be quite satisfying, almost like an overly dramatic version of Grand Theft Auto. However, with Crackdown 2, Ruffian Games really looks to be pushing the bar and making it a must have title.

Don’t believe me? Just check out the recently released trailer above and check out all the ridiculously awesome stuff you’ll be able to do is Crackdown 2. My favorite? Using one of your powers to drag an object behind you obliterating anything in its path.

Crackdown 2 will be out exclusively for the Xbox 360 on July 6th, 2010.

projectnatalracer

Think you were going to play all of the latest racers on Project Natal when it ships later this year? Well, you probably are but according to the director of SBK X Superbike World Championship, chances are they aren’t going to be very good. This has nothing to do with the graphics or Project Natal not working properly but instead due to the fact that motion controllers are just too inaccurate. Imagine coming up to a sharp turn and your motions are interpreted improperly. Frustration? You bet.

However, I’d like to see how Playstation Move stacks up against Project Natal in terms of racers. Considering it couples all sorts of technologies with the Playstation Eye it’s supposed to be super accurate. Accurate enough to play a racer? Only time will tell.

Have you played Splinter Cell: Conviction yet? I just recently got a chance to sit down with the demo and damn do I have to say I liked what I saw. Well, it seems that a bunch of people, in the UK, specifically, share the same view as me. I say this because tt was recently announced that Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Conviction has secured the number 1 spot on the UK sales charts.

So folks, numbers don’t lie, if you haven’t checked out the new Splinter Cell yet at least download the demo and see what you think I mean, it’s free, after all.

Have you or someone you know gotten banned from Xbox Live until the year 9999? Do you know why? One parent who’s kid got banned until said year didn’t know why and took it to the official Xbox forums.

The thread went like this:

Parent: Hi, Posted earlier about my son’s suspension and no help. Then i realised did not put his gamertag on the message. i am BlaaaacK v is his gamertag. Would be helpful is someone could enlighten me as to why he was suspended until 31/12/9999 without notification.

Microsoft: Your son was exposing himself on camera in Uno.

So folks, showing your junk on camera certainly isn’t going to help your rank. Hell, it’ll get you banned until the end of time. I only wish I knew how the conversation between this parent and their kid went down after reading this message.

What happens when you task the special effects genius from the Lord of the Rings, Richard Taylor, with making a custom Xbox 360? Well, you get the above masterpiece. As you can see, it features Master Chief from Halo taking out the Xbox as if it were some Covenant swine. Unfortunately, you’ll most likely never be able to buy this unless it appears on eBay as it is being given away by Microsoft Australia to celebrate 1 million Xbox 360′s sold in Australia.

Now, I wonder, what would happen if this console were to get the red rings of death?
