A Super Mario Galaxy 2 disc has been spotted in the wild, and it’s nice to see someone using some creativity on their discs nowadays, instead of just stomping a title on it.

One of the big setbacks for the PC owners of Modern Warfare 2 was the lack of dedicated servers, which doesn’t come as a big surprise, considering the game was pretty much a port of the console versions. Activision has now revealed that the upcoming CoD Black Ops will have a dedicated server feature, something the PC crowd and server owners will be pleased to hear.

A new trailer for the upcoming FPS Singularity showcases the games unique time singularity weapons, where users can target individual objects and bring age them into the future, where a concrete barrier can easily be “moves” a few hundred years into the future, making it crumble of old age. And exposing the enemy.

Activision announced yesterday the Resurgence map pack for Modern Warfare 2, but didn’t release any further details. Until today. The DLC includes five new maps, which are

• Vacant — the wide open Russian office complex from CoD4
• Strike — the urban town surrounded by hotels from CoD4
• Carnival — an abandoned carnival area with a Ferris wheel, fun house and other attractions
• Trailer Park — full of “super tight corridors” and featuring a pool.
• Fuel — a “sniper haven” based in and around an oil refinery

The DLC will be available next month for $15 on the Xbox 360 and PS3.

The Fabel 3 box art has been revealed, and it looks like Lionhead’s RPG will have a decent cover. What’s more interesting however, is the little sticker far above, which reads “only for Xbox 360 and Windows”, which of course, makes us wonder whether we’ll see Fable 3 on the PC.

Activision has announced that a new DLC for Modern Warfare 2 will be released on June 3. Called “resurgence Pack”, it includes five new multiplayer maps and will be priced at the same level as the last DLC: $15. Yep, Activision is sure pushing it.

BioWare has announced that a new Mass Effect 2 DLC is scheduled for release next month. The DLC, titled, “Overlord”, will include one new missions, just like the last DLC, and will retail for $7 or 560 MS points.

Sony’s recent financial figures finally reveal something they’ve been waiting for a long time: the PlayStation 3 is finally making money, instead of losing money, the way it has over the past four years. While the games division lost $895 million, the PS3 console sales, fueled by the PS3 slim, finally posted a profit. Sony estimates profits of $1.7 billion during the current fiscal year, which ends April 2011.

EA has revealed that Bad Company 2 sales have surpassed 5 million units in the two months the game has been released. This is better than the previous game, which has sales rumored of 4 million to date. The game continues to sell well, and expect sales to top around 8 million by the end of the year.
