Nintendo 3DS more powerful than the Wii?

According to new rumors, the technology that powers the Nintendo 3DS is more powerful than the Wii, and is right up there with the Xbox 360 and PS3. While we find that hard to believe, considering Nintendo always goes for simple, cheap hardware, keep in mind that the performance rumors come from developers who are working with the new consoles. Also, considering that 3D requires at least 50% more processing power, the 3DS will certainly be more powerful than any current Nintendo hand-held device.
