According to rumors (and some quite questionable rumors), Nintendo will unveil a GoldenEye 007 remake at this year E3 — next month. Apparently Activision is working on a remake of the original game, which will be released later this year on the Wii and DS. We’ll see what happens, and if it’s true, the remake has to be really good to live up to the original masterpiece.

Only the top games get a cover on Game Informer — the biggest game magazine in the world — and one of those games is none other than Infamous 2. Developer Sucker Punch has created a whole new city for Infamous 2 and its hero, and as usual at this time of the year, expect more details at E3.

Rare, the developers behind the famous GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark and Banjo Kazooie, are turning 25 years old today — quite an age for a videogame developer. To celebrate the occasion, they’re getting a new logo, which still features the iconic “R”.

In hopes that it will boost sales, Nintendo has added new colors to the DS line, and more importantly, lowered prices in Japan and the UK. A DS Lite in the UK was lowered from £150 to £130, with a similar price cut in Japan (and is expected in the US as well). As for the colors, well, you can get blue, yellow and green. Not exactly the most vivid colors in the world, but we’ll take it wiht the price cut.

2K Sports has confirmed that the great Michael Jordan himself will grace the cover of the upcoming NBA 2K11, which will be out on October 5. Expect the official cover to be unveiled at E3.

According to rumors (from a reliable source, nonetheless), Hulu is coming to Xbox 360, and is pretty much ready sans some red tape and bureaucratic hurdles that need to be cleared — like rights issues with content holders. If Hulu is to be released on the Xbox 360, it will only be in the US, just like Hulu.com.
