Nintendo 3DS priced at $300 in Japan, coming February 26

Nintendo has announced the launch details for its upcoming 3DS, and the 3D capable hand held will launch on February 26 in Japan at the crisp price of 25,000 Yen, which translates to $300 — making it the most expensive hand held Nintendo has ever made, and the most expensive console they’ll be selling at the time (as the Wii retails for $200). It will be available in two colors, “Aqua Blue” and “Cosmo Black” (pictured above). Furthermore, Nintendo has revealed that the 3DS will sports 2GB of internal storage for apps which can be downloaded. 2GB doesn’t seem like enough for a $300 machine.
