Square Enix trademarks “A Survivor Is Born” for Tomb Raider

According a new trademark application from Square Enix, they’ve got plans for something called “A New Survivor Is Born”. However, the trademark doesn’t cover a title, but a phrase “A Survivor is Born” for use with “computer game software” and “video game software”, e.g. in marketing and what not, which someone suggests might be for the new Tomb Raider game.

The new Tomb Raider title is expected to be unveiled in Game Informer in the beginning of next month, where we’ll hopefully learn more. We certainly don’t expect it to be another “Survivor” game.
