Gran Turismo 5 ships 5 million copies worldwide

Sony has announced that they’ve shipped an impressive 5.5 million copies worldwide of Gran Turismo 5. Despite lackluster reviews which left many unimpressed with GT5 after years of wait, the game in in high demand.

Developer Polyphony Digital has recently announced a new 1.03 patch which fixes some issues and adds car damage to online races.
