Activision sues EA for $400 million

December 22nd, 2010
Activision and developer Infinity Ward have been in a tough battle over the past year, and since Infinity Ward signed a new deal with EA, things got even more spicy. Now Activision claims that EA has conspired with Infinity Ward to hurt the company, and have now added EA to the lawsuit as a “cross-defendant”. Activision is asking for $400 million from EA, for

“actual and punitive damages from EA and the former executives, including profits Activision would have made but for EA’s interference, costs incurred in rebuilding the affected studio, and damages suffered as a result of delays and disruptions.”

As they said in Bad Boys 2, “This shit just got real”.
