Remember Humbe Indie Bundle last year? It was a huge success, bringing in over $1 million to developers and charities, and it had an awesome system where gamers could decide whether the money would go to developers, charity, or split between the two. Not only that, gamers could pay what they wanted.

Now Humble Indie Bundle 2 has been released, and it includes Braid, Machinarium, Cortex Command, Osmos, and Revenge of the Titans. How much? You name your price. Get the bundle here.

Crytek’s new free game, Warface, which just secured Chinese publishing rights with Chinese game publisher Tencent acquiring it. Crytek has released a new gameplay trailer, which looks pretty sweet.

The game runs on CryEngine, and is so far only targeted at the Asian countries, with no word on whether it’ll find its way to Europe or the Americas.

If you have a PC (or Java-capable computer in general) and haven’t played MineCraft yet you are seriously missing out. The game has been out for quite some time and has posted amazing results with fairy tale-esque story’s of it’s 1 man development team making millions. However, while MineCraft has also sold like hot cakes, it is currently only in its alpha phase meaning there is quite a bit of room to grow. Luckily, the game’s developers have just announced that MineCraft will be entering its beta phase starting on December 20th.

What exactly will the beta include? Well, the game’s developer Notch had this to say:

With Beta comes a larger focus on polish and content, and we’ll start early on with adding proper modding support with a stable API. We’ll also add some kind of non-intrusive narrative to the game to help drive the game experience early on, and to provide some kind of late game goal.

Not only that but Notch also lets us know that all users those who purchase the game after December 20th will be forced to pay again once the final game is released. Howeve,r those who purchase before then (at the lowered price of €9.95) will get all future updates for free. Good thing I already snagged my copy!

Microsoft and developer Turn 10 have confirmed that Forza 4, the next installment in the racing series, will support the new motion controller Kinect. A version of Forza 3 with Kinect was shown at this year’s E3, so it’s of no surprise that Forza 4 will fully support it. We just hope it’s not gimmicky like the other Kinect Racers.

In addition, Forza 4 will be getting new Top Gear content, just like Gran Turismo 5. However, it’s the US version of Top Gear, not the classic British one.

MMORPGs are certinaly in no drought with several big name titles from various devleopers currently on the market. However, one of the biggest (if not the biggest) MMOs on the market is none other than Blizzard’s World of Warcraft.

Well, as you’re sure to know, the game’s latest expansion dubbed Cataclysm has just hit store shelves giving gamers even more content to explore and unlock. If you had any doubt that World of Warcraft was still a hugely popular game, Blizzard has come forth today to let us know that the latest expansion has managed to sell a staggering 3.3 million copies on its first day to market.

These are some pretty damn good sales numbers and if anything gives us clear indication that Blizzard will continue to support World of Warcraft for year’s to come.

Did you pick up Cataclysm? If so, how are you liking it?

While consoles like the Nintendo Wii, Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 have become quite popular, there are still legions of highly dedicated PC gamers in the community. For those gamers, there is a wide array of different accessories to make their time fragging as effective and enjoyable as can be. However, what Shogun Bros. have come forth to put on display is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before.

As you can see from the above picture, at first glance the Chameleon X-1 Gaming Mouse looks like nothing more than a traditional mouse. Flip it over and you can see that it’s got a fully functional game pad embedded on the underside of the device. However, just because it features this innovative aspect doesn’t mean the makers have skimped on the hardware. Apparantly, this 2.4GHz wirelesss mouse features a 5-stage adjustable 1600dpi optical sensor and a 125MHz polling rate.

Sounds pretty good to me, what about you? Unfortunately, there is no word on a ship date or price point but we’ll keep you posted as soon as we get word.

Gran Turismo 5 is running on almost every PS3 out there, while Xbox 360 users are most likely still playing Forza 3. No worries, Forza 4 was announced yesterday at the VGAs with a live action trailer, and the game will be on the store shelves next Fall.

Judging from the trailer, it looks like they’re will be a few more varieties of gameplay, like rally — Forza 4 will certainly need some variety in order to compete with Gran Turismo 5.

Yesterday at the VGA Awards, lots of games were revealed, including Resistance 3, which we now have the first trailer of, showing some live action footage (much like the Resistance 2 trailer) and in-game footage as well, although the in-game stuff looks kinda pre-rendered. Resistance 3 is coming out on September 6, 2011.
