Battlefield 3 Limited Edition includes DLC

ON February 7th, 2011 In Uncategorized

We’ve gotten more info over the weekend on EA and DICE upcoming Battlefield 3, which is looking to be one of the biggest game launches this year: the Limited Edition version of the game will include DLC called “Back to Karkand”, which will include four maps from BF2, remade with the new Frostbite 2.0 engine, and will include some of the BF2 weapons and vehicles as well.

We’re not really sure about this, offering old maps from the get go will surely mean that the new and original maps won’t be played as often, even if we love Strike at Karkand and it’s one of the best maps ever made. The DLC will be available to regular BF3 owners a month after release, and will most likely be priced at $15.
