One of the biggest exclusives that Microsoft currently posses for their Xbox 360 console is none other than Halo. Created by Bungie, the Halo franchise has amassed 4 different titles with Halo: Reach being the studio’s last. However, just because Reach is their last game doesn’t mean Bungie is going to neglect it. In fact, we’ve kinown for quite some time that Bungie would be releasing a new map pack for the game dubbed the Defiant Map Pack – however, we haven’t been able to pinpoint exactly when it will drop.
Luckily, Bungie has just come forth to let us know that the Defiant Map Pack for Halo: Reach will be made available on the Xbox Live Marketplace come March 15th for 800 Microsoft Points. Included in the map pack are three brand new maps dubbed Condemned, Highlands and Unearthed – three levels that any diehard Halo fan won’t want to miss.
We’ll remind you again on the 15th when the Defiant Map Pack goes live.

Now, if you’ve been following this game you’re sure to know that it’s being released for not only the PC but the Xbox 360 and PS3 as well.
Up until now we hadn’t seen any footage of the game running on Sony’s PS3 but that hiatus has come to an end as a new video, dubbed ‘Semper Fi’ has hit the web showing off the game running on the console. Looks pretty amazing but don’t let me be the judge, check out the above video and let us know what you think.

As with most Asian nations, online gaming tends to be a lot more popular than here, and it tends to get a lot more youngsters addicted as well. Which is why the Government of Vietnam is demanding all ISPs operating in the country to implement an Internet curfew of sorts, where all online gaming is blocked after 10PM which lasts until 8AM the following morning, each day of the week.
This is following a series of crimes related to online games, and the country has already implemented strict anti-gaming laws.

Much of the hype surrounding video games focuses on the FPS genre but there is a highly dedicated gaming community supporting real time strategy games. Of this genre, Blizzard’s StarCraft franchise is one of the most popular but EA’s Command & Conquer also has seen its fair share of popularity in its day.
While Command & Conquer 4 will be ending the tiberium-focused storyline, the franchise will not die along with the precious mineral. Instead, EA is shifting work for the franchise to a brand new studio dubbed Victory Games.
Unfortunately there are no announcements to go along with this but the studio has said they will be making a rather large announcement later this year. Be sure to stay tuned.
