Halo is one of the most popular FPS franchises currently on the market. If you have an Xbox 360 you’re sure to know that there are currently 4 different titles on the market starting with Halo: CE and ending with Halo: Reach. However, if you’re been paying attention to the news you’ll also probably know that there are two more titles coming out dubbed Halo: Anniversary Edition and Halo 4.
Halo 4 is pretty self explanatory but Halo: Anniversary Edition may be a bit more puzzling to those who aren’t familiar with the game. In the shortest way possible, Halo: Anniversary Edition is a remade version of Halo: CE. But, before you get too upset, make note that the game is essentially the exact same game but with updated graphics and the ability to play online co-op. Yes, I know, it’s a bummer that they didn’t put online multiplayer into the game but what would be the point of Halo 4 if they did, am I right?
Anyways, we’ve heard quite a bit about the Anniversary Edition with even more coming out just about everyday. The latest news is that the original Halo soundtrack will be remade in its entirety for the new game. Pretty awesome and it’s sure to be a nostalgic day when Halo: Anniversary Edition drops on November 14th of this year.

It’s almost becoming tiresome to hear about Mojang Specification’s Minecraft as it seems the independently developed title has been in the news quite a bit lately. Of course, this isn’t a bad thing as Minecraft is a deliciously developed game with endless amounts of fun building towns, slaying zombies and exploring caves and dungeons. In fact, due to all of this gameplay, Minecraft has grown so popular that it has now passed 10 million users.
Something to make note of is the fact that this number does not mean 10 million users have paid for the game but at 2.7 million paying users Mojang and head developer Notch are sure to be quite satisfied.

Just like every other console on the market the Xbox 360 has an extensive line up of games. Many of these games are found on competing consoles but many of them are also exclusive to the Xbox 360 such as Halo and Gears of War. Both of these titles have managed to sell quite well and help push consoles which makes it no surprise that their respective developers are hard at work on sequels.
While Halo 4 won’t be out until next year, Epic Games has assured us that the highly anticipated Gears of War 3 will be out later this year. However, it seems that the company has run into some problems as it was just made known today that the game has leaked in its entirety. Of course, this is not the final build as the studio has quite some time to work on it before the game is actually supposed to be released.
We’re definitely not condoning pirating a game as not only does it hurt the studio but it ruins the story for you as well. However, it is important to note that things like this continue to happen despite efforts of just about everyone to protect against it.
