So for the recomended system requirements, how much would that cost me? Starting from scratch.

I do believe the game will have multithreading, so that will be the same as 4.2 GHz, and that will probably be enough.

IDK where you shop at, but you probably wanna spend about2-$300 for the GPU – and definitely get NVIDIA directX 11 +- and youre going to want a quad core CPU – the prices have come down a lot though so you can get an i7 for about 250-300. Find a compatible MOBO – they run pretty cheap – maybe $200 bucks – just make sure it can house your GPU and CPU. Then you need Power supply – 1-$200 for a good one – HDD – price depends on size can be relatively inexpensive – ODD – $50 and you must have an Operating System – I recommend Windows I think basic 7 is like $150
You should be able to build a custom gaming rig for about $900-$1300, and it would be able to support all of the latest games for the next couple of years
oh yeah cases are pretty cheap too you can get a big one for les that a hundred bucks – again make sure the case is compatible with the motherboard
They asked for a computer just good enough for recommended requirements of CSGO. Not a computer top of the line / to run the latest games at Ultra 1080p.

It will run really good, especially with a new MacBook. Make sure your fans are running at their Max speed, so your computer doesn’t get to heated while playing t. After all, MacBooks arent really meant for gaming
