While some may argue that Project Natal will be nothing more than a gimmicky peripheral, the guys over at Microsoft see things a bit differently. Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg, in fact, has said:
“..we expect millions and millions of these things to be sold this Christmas, over time developers will know millions of customers have these sensors so they can add functionality to their games. So you may see hybrid approaches, but our initial focus is on those unique experiences.”
What do you think? Will Project Natal sell millions or will it be a flop kind of like the PSPgo? Let us know in the comments.

Now that there is a ridiculous amount of content to download from the Xbox Live Marketplace, even the 120GB hard drive for the Xbox 360 is looking quite small. You probably know that there is a 250GB hard drive out there but it currently only comes in limited edition bundles. This brought about the question over whether or not we would be seeing a stand alone 250GB hard drive to fill the needs of those with storage issues.
Well, according to Xbox Live Product Manager Aaron Greenberg, we probably won’t be seeing stand alone 250GB hard drives any time soon. The reason for this? To keep them exclusive to the limited edition bundles. He comments:
“We did it with the Modern Warfare bundle, which, as people know, was a huge success, completely sold out. We’re excited to bring it back with the limited edition Final Fantasy bundle… We’re always evaluating, but for now we feel like the 120 is serving us very well as the standard offering, and then having the 250 as a limited edition is a good balance.”
Currently, I’m stuck picking and choosing a select amount of content I want because I only have the 20GB hard drive. I thought about upgrading to the 120GB but its high price kept me from doing so. This leads me to believe that even if Microsoft were to come out with a 250GB hard drive it would be damn over priced.

Earlier today Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer let everyone know that there will be a new Xbox 360 console released in 2010 sporting a built-in camera.
Well, according to Microsoft Ballmer may need to get his facts straight; Director of Productive Management for the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live over at Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg, told Kotaku:
There will be no new console… We’re not going to be launching a new console any time soon. I really believe he was speaking about Project Natal. We want to make sure people know that we’re excited about Project Natal but we’re barely halfway through this generation. We’re happy with the Xbox 360, so there are no changes from that standpoint. For the time being, we’re really just showing a new category of gaming.
Who will you believe? Steve Ballmer, or Aaron Greenberg. While it’s possible that Ballmer slipped up and announced a product before it was supposed to be announced it’s also possible that he got a new console mixed up with Project Natal. Either way, we shall see how this story unfolds as this isn’t the first time Microsoft has denied a new console rumor.
