Whether or not you were faced with the infamous DRM issues that plagued Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed II for the PC, you will be getting a pleasant surprise. According to That Video Game Blog, Ubisoft is sending out special codes to unlock 3 additional missions for free. It’s just their way of saying sorry.

The missions will apparently include a Lorenzo de Midici resure, a mission in a church and a stealth mission in a shipyard.

Has anyone tried these out yet? Let us know what oyu think.

If you weren’t aware, Ubisoft is currently working on a third Assassin’s Creed title but it isn’t Assassin’s Creed III. Instead, it’s Assassin’s Creed II Episodes, a standalone kind of expansion that adds onto the original Assassin’s Creed II. While we knew that the game would be out sometime within the nextyear, we didn’t know much about the contents of said game.

Luckily, Ubisoft’s creative director Patrice Desilets and Assassin’s Creed’s lead writer Corey May have taken center stage at DICE to let us know more. First and foremost, the agme will have a brand new, full single-player campaign. However, in addition to that, it will have a brand new, fully functional multiplayer component.

Unfortunately, thats the extent of the information they were willing to give us so we’ll have to wait around until anything else is said.
