Harmonix today announced the contents of The Beatles Limited Edition Premium Bundle that will be released alongside the standard version of the upcoming Beatles-themed Rock Band game on September 9.
Priced at $250 in the US, and 199 Euros in Europe, the limited edition will feature the game along with a large-scale replica of the Bass famously used by Sir Paul McCartney, Beatles-inspired and Ludwig-branded drums with classic pearl finish and vintage replica kick drum head, microphone and stand, and finally additional special content.
The music game will feature 45 classic songs from the legendary band, including unreleased material. It is due out on PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.
The yellow submarine is headed worldwide on September 9, as Harmonix today announced the release date for The Beatles: Rock Band, ending months of speculation and silence.
To hit stories for PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, the game will offer 45 songs from the legendary band’s catalog, taken from their 1962-69 discography, beginning with “Please Please Me” – the band’s first album – and ending with “Abbey Road”.
Controllers packed in with the game will be modeled after actual Beatles instruments, with a bundle going for $249.99. Guitars and the game itself can also be bought individually.
As expected, it will be compatible with all Rock Band instruments as well as other music-based game peripherals.
