I don’t know about you guys but ever since the Skate 3 demo hit, I’ve been hooked. Well, EA has come forth and released a new trailer for the game, this time showing a different side of Skate.

All I can say is the above video is pretty much filled with all sorts of carnage but you’ll have to watch it to understand for yourself.

Skate 3 will be out on May 11th for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

As if you couldn’t guess yourself, EA‘s latest Skate title, appropriately named Skate 3, will be getting downloadable content in the future. Now, the game has yet to hit store shelves with a launch date of May 11th, 2010 so no official announcements regarding the DLC’s content was announced. However, considering Skate 2 recieved various new parks and other places to skate I think it’s safe to assume that Skate 3 will have the same.

If you want you can download the Skate 3 demo now for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

If you’ve played Skate 2 you’ll recognize the game mode featured in the above Skate 3 trailer which is none other than the Hall of Meat. However, Skate 3 will feature a new and improved Hall of Meat allowing players to gain speed while bailing, aim your body and even push off the ground for added hilarity. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Just watch the above trailer.

Skate 3 will be out for the Xbox 360 and PS3 on May 11th of this year.

EA has come forth today and given us 10 brand new screen shots showcasing their latest skateboarding title, Skate 3. From the looks of the screenshots, like the one included above, the game will stay true to the gameplay we’ve all come to know and love in Skate 1 and 2 while adding some updated graphics and, hopefully, new tricks.

Skate 3 is due out sometime in May of this year.

Head here for the rest of the screen shots.

EA has recently released word that the next DLC pack for their popular skateboarding game, Skate 2, will feature the Maloof Money Cup and be made available on July 9th for 240 Microsoft Points/$3.00.

The DLC pack will feature the both the park and competition guidelines featured at last year’s Maloof Money Cup:

Skate 2 has been embraced by the gaming and skateboarding community across the globe, making it the perfect stage for the Maloof Money Cup’s videogame debut,” said Joe Maloof, President of Maloof Companies. “Now players everywhere can experience the world’s greatest skateboarding championship and revel in the high-stakes excitement of the competition for themselves.”

There seemed to be some confusion over the release date of the late EA Black Box’s Skate 2 as the demo had the game’s release date as today, the 23rd, while retailers and news sources had it listed as the 21st.

Either or, the game is now officially on store shelves everywhere, some stores got it the 21st (my local Gamestop got it yesterday, the 22nd) but if you’re a diehard fan of the Skate series, you probably already knew that.

With the recent news that EA will be closing its Black Box studio, let’s just hope sales are good enough for a Skate 3.
