
Visceral Games’ Dead Space has been applauded for its top notch game play, stunning visuals and compelling story. However, seeing how the game is still priced around $20, folks who have yet to pick up the game may still be iffy to do so. Luckily, PC gamers will be happy to hear that Dead Space has been dropped to $6.80 on Steam for a limited time.
By a limited time I mean this weekend only so if you’re looking to get down on this deal, you better do so fast.
For this week only, Steam will be offering a 50% off deal on every single Paradox Interactive game in their library. The Swedish video game developer and publisher is known for its historical real-time-strategy games, such as the upcoming East India Company.
Among some of the titles currently on sale include King’s Bounty: The Legend, Mount & Blade, and the first two Heart of Iron games. The sale ends on July 26th so if you’re in the mood for a fun history lesson, be sure to check out these gems.

The titles featured are Road to Hill 30 ($4.99), Earned in Blood ($4.99), and Hell’s Highway ($14.99). However, if you are so inclined to purchase every title in the series, you receive a 60% discount ($19.99).
The deal is only effective for this weekend, so act fast if you’re in the mood for a cheap first-person-shooter.

On Tuesday, we got the prices for the Modern Warfare 2 Hardened Edition and it turns out that we’re not so happy about the impact these special editions are having on our wallets. And who can forget about the Prestige Edition, complete with night vision goggles, which costs $150.

Amazon is at it again this time announcing that they will be holding a special promotion for the PS3, cutting prices on several games at various times throughout the day.
First and foremost, they will be cutting the price of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare all day long by 42% bringing the price down to $29.98. Additionally they will be holding timed deals with the first one being X-Men Origins: Wolverine at $40.
