It looks like the Alternative Appearance Pack won’t be the only think the Mass Effect franchise is getting as BioWare has just announced that a comic book series based on the franchise will be released. Dark Horse Comics will be in charge of this monthly comic and has said that it will follow the happenings in Mass Effect 2.
There’s no word exactly when this comic will be made available but we’ll let you know.

Looking for more Left 4 Dead goodness? You’re in luck — Valve just let us know that a Left 4 Dead comic will be made available through Xbox Live in the near future. Of course, this is most likely to hype players up for the forthcoming ‘The Passing’ DLC pack that is also set to drop on Xbox Live later this month.
The comic will give us some insight into the happenings of Louis, Bill, Zoe and Francis and explain how they meet Ellis, Rochelle, Coach and Nick.
There was no word on a price for the comic so until there is let’s just assume it’s going to be free.

The Command & Conquer franchise has been around since 1995 spanning a wide array of different platforms. However, it seems that the developers are going in a different direction with the game in 2010. The official website has been updated with several teaser images like the ones included above with the note, “Early 2010 will also bring you a new medium never created for the C&C franchise before, until now.”
What exactly will this new medium be? Well, judging by the teaser images we’re going to have to point to either a graphic novel or full fledged novel.

The first issue of the Dead Space comic is available online, free to read. The comic, written and illustrated by Anthony Johnson and Ben Templesmith, is a prequel to the movie Dead Space: Downfall, which itself is a prequel to the game Dead Space. It’s published by Image Comics, which has so far published six issues of the Dead Space book. You can check out the first one here.
