SEGA’s Sonic appears to follow the patch of the once famous Hollywood actor, now washed out and doing bit pieces in order to scramble some cash together. If it wasn’t enough that we haven’t seen a good Sonic game in many, many years, SEGA has now completely sold out their mascot. As you can see on the video above, Sonic has sunk so low that he’s now doing car commercials.
You’ve probably heard of Mojang Specification’s independently developed Minecraft which has managed to sell well over a million copies despite having little to no promotion. Well, it seems that some fans have decided that the game is good enough to merit a commercial and have taken it upon themselves to make their own. We’re not going to go and give away the commercial as it’s quite clever. However, there have been some party poopers around the Internet claiming it’s racist so keep that in mind when you’re viewing it and let us know what you think.
I have to give it to Sony, even though I dont’ agree with some of their choices the series of commercials featuring the fictional character Kevin Butler are quite hilarious. Today, a new commercial has been outed this time focusing on Killzone 3.
Featured within the commercial is Kevin Butler, Sony’s First Person Sensai, demonstrating how you can play Killzone 3 with PlayStation Move while at work.
Now, we’ve seen several Modern Warfare 2 commercials that show off things like multiplayer gameplay and the game’s plot but Walmart‘s commercials puts a bit of a spin on things.
Included above is said commercial where 2 guys are talking about the game and, of course, talking shit to eachother just like you could expect online when Modern Warfare 2 hits store shelves for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 10th.
Just in case there wasn’t enough hype already surrounding Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, Sony and Naughty Dog have released the above 15 second commercial showcasing the title.
Of course, there isn’t really anything we didn’t already know featured in the video other than a few clips of gameplay but it’s nice to watch anyways, especially if you’re anticipating the game.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will hit store shelves exclusively for the PS3 on October 13th.
What’s better than a bunch of Playboy Playmates gallivanting around while playing Guitar Hero? Well, the making of the commercial featuring said gallivanting, of course.
What you see above is a 7-minute video showcasing the hard work that went into making the latest Guitar Hero 5 ad. Sorry boys, no nudity here.
Activison’s Guitar Hero 5 will be out for the PS3, PS2, Xbox 360 and Wii on September 1st.
If you log on to Xbox Live right now, you will notice that there are actually video commercials playing on your dashboard, complete with sound. No longer are there little images of ads, but there are actually full-fledged Silverlight videos.
If you aren’t so happy with this, you can just chose not to watch them since no one is forcing you to. But one can’t help question why these ads are fair if players are already paying for their subscription to Xbox Live. I can understand the need for them if it was a free service, but clearly it isn’t.. Anyways, the ads claim to be non-intrusive, so we can only hope for the best.
I don’t know about you guys but I think I’ll have to side with Shia LaBeuof on this one, despite a few good titles nothing on the Wii has really caught my eye, that’s why I’m so excited for The Conduit. It looks to push the graphical capabilities of the Wii along with providing top notch first person gameplay.
Well, it seems Sega has found it fitting to provide The Conduit with a television ad as its June 23rd release date draws ever closer. Wait, that’s tomorrow!
Please excuse us for the poor quality video, we will provide you with a better one as it becomes available.
