Iphone nintendo

Concept artist and designer Fabio Basile created this amazing looking Nintendo accessory concept for the iPhone, which adds physical buttons to the iPhone with a touch of NES nostalgia. He’s trying to get this off the ground and make it reality, with a Kickstarter project in the making in order to raise the funds.

We know there are plenty of gaming accessories for the iPhone and iPod touch, but this one actually looks cool and might be worth buying.

What you see above, you will probably never see in real life. However, for some, it could be a sought after product.

It’s only a concept but basically what it is, is a Playstation 3 controller that has the ability to twist. Twist? Yeah, I can’t really think of any examples what it would be used for but yeah, twist!

Coming soon, Guitar Hero: Twist.

I am not sure I want to know why I need a small display when I am using the gianourmous 17 inch main display to play games or go about my business, but the new Firefly laptop from HP has one.
The laptop should be on display at CES so we will definitely find out more about it. So far we know it has a 17 inch main screen and an 800×480 display ready for action. What will that second screen cost me?

Mightier from Ratloop on Vimeo.
The concept game in the picture here is simply mind boggling! It doesn’t need fancy hardware components and it’s not very complicated to solve either. Mightier is a puzzle game. You print the gridded-out sheets with objectives on it and then you start drawing the solution. When you’re done your webcam will scan the image and insert it int o the game. Then you will fly around with your jetpack to complete the puzzle. If the solution fails to work, simply draw another one.

The game is free for now but it’s available only to Windows users. Is this the future of gaming? Ready to give it a try?

Isn’t it interesting when comparing concept art and early demonstrations of games to the final product? Often the change is very drastic. Just look at the first video of Spore. In the case of Mirror’s Edge, however, it doesn’t seem like they changed the game that much. They simply removed guns (or at least lowered the significance of guns in gameplay), turned the main character into a girl, and most importantly, added textures. Not that it’s a bad thing, I’m certain that Portal was the same. The point is, they found an interesting concept, and they haven’t messed with it. Also, if this concept video was in third person, I think it would look a lot like what Ubisoft has planned for Assassin’s Creed 2.
