Not too long ago we let you know that the PC version of Splinter Cell: Conviction was getting delayed until April 27th. This led many gamers to ponder whether the delay was regarding Ubisoft’s DRM software. Well, according to Ubisoft, no the delay has not at all been related to DRM:
The reason that has been given for the delay is that the extra time was need to polish and debug the game. The slip has not been linked to the DRM.”
Let’s hope that means the DRM will actually work when the game hits.

After numerous delays, Ubisoft has just announced that Splinter Cell: Conviction has finally gone gold. For those who don’t know, this means the game is completely done being developed and produced and will soon be sent to retailers nation wide.
If, however, you can’t wait until Conviction‘s April 13th release date you can always hop on Xbox Live and download the demo.

Just 3 days ago Ubisoft officially let us know that there would be a Splinter Cell: Conviction demo but didn’t tell us when it would be dropping. Now, reports have surfaced that say the wo demo will be made available this Thursday, March 18th.
Ubisoft has been careful while pciking th eocntent with the demo so that they can tease gamers but not give away too much of the plot. This means they will have both Stealth and action-oriented gameplay elements included in the dmeo.
If, however, you’re waiting for the full game, that’s coming out on April 13th for the Xbox 360 and PC.

Yesterday we let you know that Ubisoft would be releasing a Splinter Cell: Conviction demo next month and now a new trailer from the game has emerged. While this trailer is a decent display of the game’s graphical capabilities, its real purpose is to give the viewer and insight into the plot line behind the title.
The plot sounds pretty interesting but I’m sure I’ll understand it better once I get a chance to dive into it when Splinter Cell: Conviction hits store shelves for the Xbox 360 and PC on February 23rd, 2010.

Those anxiously awaiting the release of Splinter Cell: Conviction will be happy to hear that Ubisoft has recently launched a teaser site for the game.
However, they won’t be very happy to hear that the site doesn’t display much infromation other than the above insignia followed by the text: Site currently under investigation. If you have any information on Sam Fisher, please report it here. VOMACOIFINNOCNT.
Hmm, what could that mean? Perhaps some hints at the plot, perhaps some random nonsense who knows. We’ll have to wait until this holiday season when Splinter Cell: Conviction is supposed to hit shelves.
