If you’ve been following the Duke Nukem Forever release schedule you’ll know that things have been a bit ridiculous over the years. If you haven’t, just know that the game has been in development for over a decade before development was shifted from 3D Realms to Gearbox Software. Luckily, under Gearbox Software’s lead the game was finally scheduled for release in May before getting delayed, once again, to June.
Well, if you’re one of the folks who hasn’t given up hope on Duke Nukem Forever but still wants something to ease the pain a bit from waiting all of these years Amazon has a deal for you. If you buy the game from Amazon.com they will give you a $10 credit to buy anything shipped and sold from the online mega retailer.
Sure, $10 isn’t much but it’s more than $0, right?

Every one’s favorite online retailer, Amazon, has been known to cut us a whole slew of deals from time to time and today they have yet another. It was just made known that Amazon.com will be offering consumers a free $50 giftcard with the purchase of a 160GB PlayStation 3. Priced at $295.98, this means that you’re essentially getting a PlayStation 3 for $245.98.
There isn’t much else to tell you about this one. If you’re looking for a great deal on a PlayStation 3, now’s your change.

Normally, trading your used games into GameStop would net you close to nothing. However, they are running a promotion that will give an extra 50% credit for trade-ins. Of course, you’re still only going to see anything from newer titles like BioShock 2, Modern Warfare 2 and New Super Mario Bros. Wii which will all net you $35.
There’s no word on when this promotion will end so you better hurry up and say goodbye to your brand new games sooner rather than later if you’re trying to get in on it.

The Internet has recently gotten word that major toy retailer, Toys ‘R’ Us, is testing a new campaign that will allow game owners to trade in their games for store credit.
Apparently, if you bring a game in its original case, with it’s original artwork and player’s manual, and it’s not cracked or rated Adults Only, you will be able to “sell” it to Toys ‘R’ Us in return for store credit.
This campaign was first noticed at a Toys ‘R’ Us in Nanuet, NY so all of the surrounding stores will probably get the same treatment. Look out Game Stop, Toys ‘R’ Us is comin’ for you.

Mythic faced much criticism from gamers, employees and industry people alike for the crediting policy it instituted for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning where they gave credit only to the launch team and not to those who contributed to the game through the years.
Addressing those complaints, the studio has announced that it will maintain an online database of everyone who contributed to the project, regardless of current employment status. However, credit in the manual will be given to those who were part of the ‘launch’ team.
"I applaud Mythic for taking steps to address this issue," stated IGDA chairperson Jen MacLean. "Fair and accurate credits and transparent standards for crediting remain a pervasive problem in the industry."
