It seems like 2010 is starting off with a ton of rumors coming from every direction, and now, according to Games Thirst, who apparently have the upcoming issue of the official PlayStation Magazine, Sony will be unveiling Killzone 3 at E3 2010. But that’s not all, Sony will apparently unveil Infamous 2 and Resistance 3 as well. Yeah, we know, it’s a long shot, but there’s no doubt that sequels for all those games are planned.
This year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo only recently ended, yet the Entertainment Software Association has already dated next year’s event. E3 2010 will be held during June 15-17 and hosted at the Los Angeles Convention Center once again. No reason given on why the schedule is a little later than this year, but it doesn’t make much of a difference.
The attendance for this year’s event grew by 820% from 2008, and is being called a “success” by the ESA. My guess is that the formula will be the same next year, seeing the overwhelming positive response for the last few days as compared to 2007 and 2008.

As the final day of E3 is underway today, the ESA announced that the event has indeed been a success, with over 41,000 attendees and 216 exhibitors, including developers, publishers, media exhibitors, hardware makers and many other. Although this is still a far cry from the golden days, where over 50,000 people would show up (in 2006 over 60,000 attended), and where the show was open to the general public.
The ESA also announced next year’s E3 would take place from June 15 to 17 at the LA Convention Center.
