The Splinter Cell: Conviction and Final Fantasy XIII Xbox 360 Elite bundles are pretty highly sought after considering they feature a 250GB hard drive and all the other bells and whistles of an Elite SKU. However, their price tag, $499.99, may keep the consoles out of the hands of some, if not most, gamers.
Luckily, Amazon.com is holding a deal that will drop $40 off that asking price, bringing the final price down to $359.99

Yet another game inspired Xbox 360 SKU has been announced, this time for Forza Motorsport 3. This announcement is basically just Microsoft coming clean about the 250GB Xbox 360 Elite that we saw appear on Amazon late last month.
Inside the box you will find the 250GB Xbox 360, of course, in addition to 2 wireless controllers, an Xbox 360 headset and Forza Motorsport 3. American gamers need not get excited as this SKU is currently exclusive to the European market when it drops on October 23rd for £249.99 or about $413.

Believe it or not, Grand Theft Auto IV was released exactly 1 year ago today. You know what that means, right? An Xbox 360 bundle, duh!
Word has recently gotten out that Microsoft is prepping to launch the above pictured Xbox 360 bundle to coincide with GTA IV‘s 1 year anniversary.
According to Kotaku, the bundle will feature an Xbox 360 Elite, along with GTA IV, and 2 limited edition stickers; one featuring the game’s logo and one featuring the Liberty City Swingers logo. Unfortunately Microsoft left out the first DLC episode, The Lost & Damned, bummer.
No release date or pricing has been announced but we’ll keep you posted.

If you are new to the Xbox scene or are just looking to upgrade your existing console you should check out the recently announced Xbox 360 Elite Games of the Year bundle.
Featured in this new pack is your run of the mill Xbox 360 Elite, equipped with a black body and 120GB harddrive, along with both Halo 3 and Fable 2. And, the best part is that this SKU will retain the original Elite’s asking price of $400.
Heck, Microsoft even threw in a free Netflix trial, what a deal!

Rumor has it that Microsoft is currently planning to return the Xbox 360 Elite to limited availablity as they original wanted.
But why? Well, since the Elite is priced significantly higher than the lower tier models, consumer demand has dropped due to the economy leading retailers to be less fond of the SKU.
When I say they will be returned to limited availability, I mean that Microsoft will take advantage of it’s marketability and use it to coincide with the release of games like they did with Resident Evil 5.
While this is still just a rumor it seems completely plausible.

It was just formally announced yesterday that the Limited Edition red Xbox 360 Elite featuring Resident Evil 5 actually officiallyexists, and now its already up for pre-order.
Amazon is listing the console at $399.99 with a release date of March 13th. Considering it ships with Resident Evil 5 itself and a token good for Street Fighter II HD Remix and a Resident Evil Dashboard theme, on top of the fact it’s an Elite SKU, it’s not a bad deal.
Head over to Amazon.com’s listing for the product to pre-order it now.

First there was white, then black, now red? If a leaked document from Toys ‘R’ Us is to be believed, that could be the case.
As you can see from the above picture, which an Toys ‘R’ Us employee snapped from the store’s product database, it clearly states that a red Xbox 360 Elite console priced at $399.
There’s no telling what this product could possibly be, although Kotaku speculates it may be the Resident Evil 5 special edition Xbox 360 we’ve been hearing so much about. Hell, maybe it’s one of those Project (RED) promotions? Who knows.

We’ve heard rumors about it for some time now, but the fabled Xbox 360 cuts have officially been made official today over at Major Nelson’s, official, blog.
The price cuts will go into effect on Friday, the 5th, and will go something like this:
Xbox 360 Arcade $199
Xbox 360 $299
Xbox 360 Elite $399
Yep, you read that right. Come September 5th, the Xbox 360 Arcade edition will cost less than a Nintendo Wii, currently priced at $250. Then again, who wants the Arcade edition?
