Here’s an interesting bit of news: F1 2010 has climbed to the top of the UK sales charts last week, knocking off none other than Halo Reach off the top spot, which is quite a feat in and of itself. Dead Rising 2 came in third, while fourth place saw another new entry: Civilization 5. The sales chart is as follows:
Codemasters has released what’s looking to be one of the finest F1 racing game ever. The trailer above was released at TGS, the game however, is scheduled for release on September 21.
Following up on word that it had secured the Formula One racing license, Codemasters wasted no time in disclosing its plans for multi-year racing domination, announcing F1 2009 and F1 2010.
Debuting on the Wii and PSP this fall will be F1 2009, followed by F1 2010 on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 sometime next year.
No other details were given except for a couple of screenshots.
