bayonetta

Famitsu, one of the premiere Japanese gaming magazines, has been known to be extremely critical when they review various titles. In fact, up until now they have not awarded an Xbox 360 game with a perfect score.

Today, it was made known that the lucky Xbox 360 title that will be getting a perfect score from Famitsu is none other than Sega‘s Bayonetta.

Haven’t played Bayonetta yet? Well, that’s no surprise as it doesn’t hit North American shelves until January 2010.

Casual gamers play a title for a little while, then move on to the next thing to grab their fancy. Next you have the more involved fans who pick up any title in a series no matter how terrible the review scores say it is. The most rabid fans by far are the ones with tattoos of the Triforce, 1-up mushrooms or what have you.

Somewhere in between are those of us who buy keychains, tshirts and coffee mugs bearing logos or characters. If you’re a big Fallout fan Japanese website Famitsu is selling some tshirts branded with icons and other content. You can show your love for fictional radioactive beverage Nuka Cola, your membership in the Church of the Children of Atom and your general love for all things wasteland.

If you really want to geek it up a bit, you can buy a shirt with glow in the dark logos as well as the standard style. Unfortunately the website is all in Japanese and the shirts will set you back as much as $50 after shipping.

It was recently confirmed by Capcom in a recent issue of Famitsu that the online servers for their upcoming Street Fighter IV will in fact be worldwide. This theoretically means that if a player in Japan wanted to go up against a player in the US, they could do so with little hassle, let’s just see how the latency holds up.

That’s not all though as Capcom also let loose that the PS3 version of the game will be coming with exclusive anime intros for the different characters in arcade mode. Sounds cool.

Street Fighter IV is currently in the final stages of development by Capcom and will hit shelves stateside Feburary 17th, and Feburary 20th in Europe.
