SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 has seen numerous delays so it’d be a surprise if the game ever actually hit store shelves. However, Sony has said that the game will in fact be ready to ship on February 16th.
Fireteam Bravo 3 is developed by Slant Six and is said to feature up to 16-player online play along with the ability to link up with up to 3 friends for 4-player co-op. Sounds interesting, if the game actually gets released, that is.

It seems that Sony and Slant Six are once again delaying the PSP title SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 from January 12th to a release date that will be announced “in the coming weeks”.
Why exactly are they delaying the game again? We haven’t a clue but we will probably find out when they announce the release date within the next month.

First announced back in April, SCEA has announced via the Playstation Blog that SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3 will be released exclusively for the PSP on November 24th.
If you’ve been paying attention you’ll know that Fireteam Bravo 3 is set to be the first SOCOM PSP title to feature multiplayer co-op over both Ad-Hoc and Infrastructure modes. This means you’ll be able to link up with 2-4 players and progress through the game’s campaign wirelessly.
Considering the community behind the SOCOM franchise this most likely won’t be the last Fireteam Bravo PSP title we’ll be seeing.
