Yet another game inspired Xbox 360 SKU has been announced, this time for Forza Motorsport 3. This announcement is basically just Microsoft coming clean about the 250GB Xbox 360 Elite that we saw appear on Amazon late last month.

Inside the box you will find the 250GB Xbox 360, of course, in addition to 2 wireless controllers, an Xbox 360 headset and Forza Motorsport 3. American gamers need not get excited as this SKU is currently exclusive to the European market when it drops on October 23rd for £249.99 or about $413.

The Bugatti Veyron is largely accepted as one of the fastest production cars available on the market today with an astonishing 1000 horsepower and top speed of over 250 MPH. With those specs, I bet you would love to drive one, right?

Well, unless you want to fork over $1.4 million you’re just going to have to settle with driving it in Forza Motorsport 3 as it was just announced that the car will be making an appearance in the title.

Included above is a video detailing the meticulous work that went into perfectly replicating the vehicle for Forza 3 and I must say, the results are stunning. However, for now, you’ll have to sit tight for your chance to drive the Veyron as Turn 10′s Forza Motorsport 3 doesn’t hit store shelves for the Xbox 360 until October 27th, 2009.

Having recently announced that the Xbox 360 Elite would be getting a price cut to $299, it would only make sense that Microsoft would then announce a new, higher end model.

Well, it seems that a recent listing on Amazon.de (Germany’s Amazon) has notified us of just that, an Xbox 360 with a 250GB hard drive, Forza Motorspot 3 and 2 wireless controllers all for the price of €280 or about $379.

While the listing has since been pulled, I think it’s safe to assume that Microsoft will announce an Xbox 360 Uber Elite leading up to Forza Motorsport 3‘s October 27th release date.

As for the Limited Collector’s Edition, which retails for $79.99 exclusively at GameStop, more vehicles and perks are included, along with a 2GB USB thumb drive.

Forza Motorsport 3 will, of course, be released on the Xbox 360. Be sure to check out the trailer of the game, which took about a month to make.

Coming as no surprise, Xbox 360 Fanboy reports of leaked assets for Forza Motorsport 3, the third entry in the racing simulation franchise that has done well for Microsoft over the years, that reveal something very interesting: in-game race posters.

Apparently, Microsoft Game Studios has sub-contracted Kaarbo Designs to create menu graphics for the game; the in-game race posters were posted on the company’s website and were promptly removed before being saved by Internet detectives. In response, Kaarbo has said that the posters “are only samples and are not to be used.”

Even then, the posters are sleek as hell! The game looks to be becoming quite the monster, with rumors noting that the DVD format has become an issue. It supposedly features over 400 cars and 100 tracks and will likely ship on two separate discs. Forza 3 is expected to be shown at this year’s E3.
