Engadget has recently posted about the perfect give for the DIYer on your Christmas list. Recently announced is the Fuzebox 8-bit DIY game console an open-source project that features a ATmega644 8-bit processor and 4K of RAM.

As you can see from the above picture, it accepts 2 SNES controllers, and some assembly is required. The console also features 4-channel MIDI sound and runs games written in C, a homebrewers dream.
