Take a wild guess, what do you think the most pirated game of 2009 is? If you guessed anything besides Modern Warfare 2 not only have you been living under a rock but you’re also wrong.
According to TorrentFreak the game has been downloaded a full 4.1 million times for the PC and 970,000 times for the Xbox 360.
And, for those of you who care, the most downloaded game of 2009 for the Wii was New Super Mario Bros. Wii clocking in at 1.15 million downloads. Also, not so much of a surprise.

EA’s The Sims 3 isn’t set to hit store shelves until June 2nd but it seems a group by the name of RELOADED has gone ahead and leaked the game to the masses.
Clocking in at 5.3GB, The Sims 3 leak has been spread to just about every major BitTorrent tracker there is. Several posters have confirmed that this is in fact the official release but will EA care? I mean, The Sims franchise is one of the best selling PC franchises of all time. And, with all of the new features being added to number 3 it’s sure to sell like hotcakes.
Of course, Digitalbattle doesn’t condone illegally downloading games so do so at your own risk.

Now here’s something you don’t see everyday. Game publishing giant Electronic Arts recently sent out promotional material promoting one of their recently released games, The Godfather II.
Well, that promotional material included a set of brass knuckles which just so happen to be illegal in a large portion of the United States who received said promotional material. Someone at EA evidentally recognized this mistake as they are asking everyone who received the brass knuckles to send them back so they could be “properly disposed of”.
There isn’t anymore information on the subject but it should be entertaining to see how this one unfolds. We’ll keep you posted.
