It appears that co-op level creation will be one of the highlights of the upcoming LEGO Indiana Jones sequel, as revealed by LucasArts in the Develop Conference in Brighton.

It would be only natural that a LEGO game would allow you to create maps, so this is a step in the right direction for the franchise. However, level creation is limited to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Wii systems. No word on whether the feature will be included in the PC, Nintendo DS, or PSP versions of The Adventure Continues.

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues will be out in North America on November 20th.

The new rumors come from GameIndustry.biz, who picked up an online CV of one of the animators, where both games are confirmed to be in development. The CV also revealed that the developers tried to pitch a game to Peter Jackson, a game that would supposedly be based on the upcoming Hobbit movie.
