Halo LEGO
Flickr user “Nick Brick” knows a thing or two about LEGOs, judging by the looks of his creations. The man specializes in recreating Halo weapons in LEGO with astounding accuracy and visual detail. For instance, the Halo Reach SRS99 rifle, pictured above. Be sure to check out more photos of his full arsenal on Flickr.

LEGO Skyrim
The epic RPG, or, The Most Time Consuming Game Ever, a.k.a. Skyrim, has been a huge hit so far, selling millions of copies and inspiring gamers to recreate their favorite Skrim moments, objects, weapons, etc. in the real world.

Flickr user Stormbringer, an avid LEGO creator, re-created Skyrim’s village of Dawnstar, which has come under attack by a Frost Dragon. Check out more pics of the creation here.

I can’t say I’ve ever been a fan of any of the LEGO games but I have read through all of the Harry Potter books whether I like to admit it or not. If you’re like me and like Harry Potter, but also happen to like the LEGO games you should check out above trailer for LEGO Harry Potter.

The trailer follows Harry Potter in his 3rd year at Hogwarts and all that follows.

Check it out and we’ll let you know when more information is made known.

I must say, I was a bit skeptical about the LEGO Star Wars series before I was actually able to get my hands on it. Once I was, I realized the game was actually pretty damn fun. However, no matter how fun it is it doesn’t exactly get me excited for the recent announcement of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.

The latest addition to the LEGO Star Wars franchise will be based on the animated series entiteld, you guessed it, The Clone Wars. Both seasons of said series will be included in the game alongside a new and improved level builder, head-tohead combat moves and all new abilities.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will be made available this fall for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC DS and PSP.

It seems that LEGO is gearing up to launch a Prince of Persia themed series of their iconic bricks. This is apparantly a marketing deal that Disney signed with LEGO to promote the movie coming out next April.

Anyways, pictured above is a snapshot of the Prince of Persia LEGO series that was recently shown off during Comic Con and from the looks of it they are exactly what we’d expect; LEGO toys.

If this is your kind of thing expect to see the Prince of Persia LEGO sets hit shelves right around the franchise’s big screen debut.

This year’s San Diego Comic-Con has launched, and with it comes loads of trailers. Today we bring you a LEGO Rock Band teaser, complete with ridiculous puns like “Build Your Band”. No gameplay footage was available, so I still won’t be able to know if the frets are going to be LEGO blocks.

The details for the game are quite odd, giving players the ability to “destroy giant robots with killer riffs”. If you’re looking for a true Rock Band title, this probably won’t be your cup of tea; most of the tracks are geared for a younger audience.

LEGO Rock Band is scheduled for a November 30th release for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS.

New rumors suggest or rather, confirm, that Traveller’s Tales are not only working on a LEGO Harry Potter game, but an Indiana Jones sequel: Indiana Jones 2: Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

The new rumors come from GameIndustry.biz, who picked up an online CV of one of the animators, where both games are confirmed to be in development. The CV also revealed that the developers tried to pitch a game to Peter Jackson, a game that would supposedly be based on the upcoming Hobbit movie.

It was recently announced that Disney and LEGO have inked a deal that will allow a Prince of Persia LEGO series to be produced.

But what does this mean for us gamers, considering the toys are based on the movie and not the actual game?

Well, if there are toys based on Prince of Persia, this could mean that there is potentially a LEGO Prince of Persia video game in the works.

78413-1 Traveller’s Tales, the studio behind Lego Batman and Lego Star Wars, has revealed that they are planning to produce more Lego titles based on properties owned by parent corporation Warner Bros., as well as an upcoming children’s television series.

Company president Jon Burton told Variety that they have “gotten started doing some LEGO games,” though he wouldn’t mention which franchises they are working on. Properties owned by WB include Superman and Harry Potter, among others.

Burton additionally revealed that the company may create a children’s television show in the future, making use of technology originally built for the studio’s video games.

“To be able to dabble around in CG and film would be interesting, and Warner allows me to push in those directions without ‘quitting the day job,’ so to speak,” he said. “Warner allows me to take a step in that direction, and if I suck? Great, I’ll make games.”
