Laptop modders at Xtreme Kreations took a standard 13″ MacBook Pro and modded the back so that instead of the glowing Apple logo, we get an amazing render of Metroid’s Samus Aran, with a glowing suit. watch the video, it’s a remarkable piece of work. Take a look at a few pictures here.
The Nintendo Wii introduced to us motion control in the form of a home game console. The success of the Wii is what many have said is the reason for Sony and Microsoft to develop the Playstation Move and Kinect, respectively.
Well, love it or hate it there is no denying the fact that the Nintendo Wii has a pretty hefty library of exclusive titles some classic and some not. One classic franchise that Nintendo holds is Metroid with the latest title being Metroid: Other M. While you would normally be forced to pay full price for this game, everyone’s favorite online retailer Amazon.com has put the game up for just $20.
However, there is a catch as the deal is only good until 6PM EST leaving about 1 hour 20 minutes since the time of this posting to get down on the deal.
Nintendo has just announced at their Media Summit that the latest Metroid title, Metroid: Other M will be made available for North American Wiis on June 27th of this year.
The game will be developed by Team Ninja and will join the ranks of big releases this year like Super Mario Galaxy 2.

In addition to unveiling the sequel to Super Mario Galaxy, Nintendo has unveiled a new Metroid game for the Wii as well. Called Metroid: Other M, it will be developed by Team Ninja and is both a first person and third person action game. It will be released in 2010. As usual, expect a lot more info, and hopefully a vide or two, during E3.
