Sony is really pushing 3D technology just as they did with Blu-ray. In fact, they want you to buy their new HX803-series  Bravia 3DTV that is going on sale in Europe this June that they are bundling 4 free 3D PS3 games with it.

Those games include WipEout HD, MotorStorm Pacific Rift, Super Stardust HD and PAIN.

Of course, if you don’t want to buy the sure to be high priced TV you can just hop online and snag them from the PSN, for a price.

Sony Worldwide Studios Europe chief Michael Denny has revealed that racing sequel MotorStorm: Pacific Rifthas sold over one million units worldwide. The game was released on October 28 in North America a date too late for sales to make an impact on the charts; November sales data is yet to be released.

“We’re pleased with the high Metacritic rating of 82 percent and it’s sold over a million units worldwide,” said Denny to GamesIndustry.

Developer Evolution Studios is currently working on producing a lot of downloadable content for the game, most of which will reportedly be free. The content is set to be released on a weekly basis.

The general public will be able to get their hands on the MotorStorm Pacific Rift demo on Thursday finally, as the Qore exclusive demo will be part of the PlayStation Store update this Thursday. It has been exclusive to Qore subscribers for about a month now.

The demo offers “Rain God Spires”, one of the 16 courses included in the game. It offers both single and multiplayer action through split-screen and online.

Full version of the off-road racing sequel hits stores October 28.
