2K Sports has revealed the cover of NBA 2K11, which, if you remember correctly, features Michael Jordan himself, both on the cover, and playable in-game.

According to fresh rumors from ESPN, Michael Jordan himself is set to grace the cover of NBA 2K11, which would be the first time a retired athlete would be on the cover of a basketball game (or any other sports game for that matter).

EA Sports is in full swing releasing all of the sports games they can, Fight Night Round 4, Madden 10, NHL 10 and now NBA Live 10. However, previous to now EA had kept both the cover and cover athelete under wraps.

As you can see above, Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard has gotten the honor of gracing the latest installment’s cover. Howard gave the following statement after the announcement:

“It’s an honor to be named as the cover athlete for NBA LIVE 10. This year has been a crazy ride and this is a cool way to cap it off. Of course – there is one more thing I’m on the hunt for that would complete it.”

I wonder what he’s on the hunt for? Maybe a final victory over the Lakers? Oh yeah.

We first learned earlier this month that Infinity Ward would be releasing a trailer full of actual Modern Warfare 2 gameplay on May 24th. Well, they have released another teaser trailer again confirming the actual trailer’s existence; it will be aired on TNT during the NBA Eastern Conference Finals which start at 5:30ET. 

In leui of the announcement, they have also launched the game’s official website at www.modernwarfare2.com. So, your best bet is to view the above teaser, squawk at the visuals and tune into TNT this Sunday the 24th at 5:30 because there is no telling when the Modern Warfare 2 trailer will actually debut.
