If you’re an RPG fan you’ve undoutedbly heard of (and most likely put countless hours into) the Elder Scrolls series. Starting with Morrowind the game took a turn for the better and introduced (for the time) amazing graphics wrapped around the same gameplay we’ve come to know and love from titles like Daggerfall. However, now that Oblivion is on the streets and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is just around the corner, Morrowind is looking quite dated.

Luckily, a dedicated developer by the name of Warwon have taken the time to produce the Morrowind 2011 mod. What does this mod do, you ask? Well, as you can see from the above video it replaces the various textures and other environmental objects making for a truly incredible scene. It will be interesting to see how this updated version of Morrowind competes with Skyrim.

Unfortunately, the mod is not yet available for download but you can follow along with its development at the official site here.

Call of Duty has become one of the most popular FPS franchises in the world. Not only did Modern Warfare 2 cause massive waves, Black Ops only just recently hit store shelves and was no different. However, now that Call of Duty: Black Ops has been on the market for quit some time, Treyarch is already starting to think towards the future. And by the future I mean a DLC map pack dubbed First Strike.

Confirmed by Microsoft’s own Major Nelson, the First Strike Black Ops DLC pack will be hitting on February 1st exclusively for the Xbox 360. According to Nelson, this pack will focus mostly on multiplayer but will also include a single map for use with the game’s popular zombie mode.

Like I said above, the First Strike DLC pack will be hitting first for the Xbox 360 with the PS3 version coming at a later date.
