Steam has some great deals of RTS fans out there: all Command & Conquer games are 75% off this weekend, meaning you can get Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars for $7.50, Command & Conquer 4: Tiberium Wars for $5 and Red Alert 3 for just $5 bucks. We’d love to see some of the older C&C titles like Red Alert and Red Alert 2 on Steam — as far as we know they’re free to download, so why not just add them to Steam?

Command & Conquer pretty much revolutionized the RTS genre, although lately the series have been on a decline. But we sure recommend Red Alert 3 for $5.

Check it out on Steam.

EA has just let us know that Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Commander’s Challenge will be made available for purchase over Xbox Live and the Playstation Network sometime this week for 800 Microsoft Points or $10 respectively.

This game is basically a standalone expansion for C&C Red Alert 3 but with a bit of twists and turns incorporated into it. Don’t understand? Watch the above video and I’m sure you’ll see things a lot clearer.

Best Buy is holding a large video game sale for most consoles like the Xbox 360, Playstation and Wii today. Prices have all been marked down to $9.99, a far cry from their original prices which started at $60.

Over 100 games are on sale, but if you don’t want to wade through the whole list, here’s a few recommendations. Xbox 360 owners could do a lot worse than C&C: Red Alert 3, Condemned 2, and Devil May Cry 4. On PS3, Pure, Guitar Hero 3, and Soul Calibur 4 are good choices. On the Wii, the selection’s not quite so good, but Samba de Amigo’s a great choice if you like off-beat rhythm games.

Just like the famed sales made by Circuit City some months back, you better get to Best Buy quick if you want to get hold of those games for a steal!

If you’ve been waiting for a chance to get your hand’s on EA’s Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 now’s your chance, sort of.

While the game as been out since early November on the 360 (late October for PC), it was recently announced by Major Nelson that the demo for the game has recently hit the Xbox Live Marketplace. Don’t get too excited though, the demo doesn’t include any multiplayer, bummer!

Featuring single-player missions from both Allied and Soviet campaigns, this demo will be the perfect opportunity to see if it actually is possible to develop a decent RTS for a console, or will we have to wait until Halo Wars for that?
