One of my all time favorite RTS franchises is none other than Command & Conquer. Couple this with the fact that the iPhone (and iPod touch) is quickly becoming one of the premiere hand held gaming devices and you have yourself a match made in heaven.
Later this month EA will be putting Command & Conquer Red Alert up for sale on ther App Store which includes 12 different levels and two different sides; the Soviets and the Allies.are they dow

Electronic Arts has announced today that Command & Conquer 3 Red Alert: Uprising will be shipped at a retail price of $20. Players who pre-order bundle pack through Direct2Drive will get $5 off the full price.
The real-time-strategy expansion will be hitting shelves in March for the PC.
To celebrate the 13th anniversary of the original Command & Conquer: Red Alert this Sunday, August 31, publisher EA will give away the game for free. The company did not disclose how long the game would remain free, but noted that it will be available all day on the 31st.
The free download will be posted on the Red Alert 3 website as a promotion for the upcoming sequel which will hit PC and Xbox 360 in October. Those who pre-order the game will also get a free download of Red Alert 2.
