Resistance 3 is getting some brand new DLC today, in the form of “Brutality”, which is a co-op pack with emphasis on “survival”, and is set in the Wales setting of the main campaign. But unlike the regular campaign, Brutality is set to be much darker, according to developer Insomniac.
The DLC also features a new weapon, the Sledgehammer, which is an actual sledgehammer the player will need to fight hordes of Grims. The DLC is available now for the price of $10.
Yesterday at the VGA Awards, lots of games were revealed, including Resistance 3, which we now have the first trailer of, showing some live action footage (much like the Resistance 2 trailer) and in-game footage as well, although the in-game stuff looks kinda pre-rendered. Resistance 3 is coming out on September 6, 2011.

Developer Insomniac has released the first batch of Resistance 3 screenshots, which pretty much look like Resistance 1 and 2. And spiced up a bit in Photoshop.

Resistance: Fall of Man maker Insomniac Games has announced that they plan to unveil a brand new title at this years Penny Arcade Expo, which starts early September. Most speculate that the “new project” is simply Resistance 3, but it might be possible that Insomniac unveils something new altogether.

It was recently announced that SCEA and Global Gaming are offering a tournament for PSP title Resistance: Retribution. The prize? $25,000 worth of Sony gear.
The tournament will run both 2v2 and 4v4 ladders and goes today through May 10th.
