A few more details have been released, including a co-op feature where up to 16 players can play the campaign together. Finally, the game will be officially titled “Serious Sam 3: BFE”. We dunno what BFE stands for, but I’m sure we’ll find out very soon.

Fans of the popular Serious Sam franchise that first made its debut on the PC back in 2002 will be happy to hear that Croteam has announced a forthcoming XBLA version of the game.

Appropriately entitled Serious Sam HD, this port will apparently be a remastered version of the original title, The First Encounter. However it will include 4-player online-cop a feature that was absent from the original release.

You’ll be able to get Serious Sam HD for the XBLA towards the end of this summer for 1,200 Microsoft Points.
