sierraLogo4 Seeing as how nobody really plays “old” games anymore, Sierra is shutting down 21 master servers for multiplayer games dating from 1998 to 2006.

These titles include Tribes 2, the Homeworld series and No One Lives Forever 2 all of which will be taken offline starting November 1. Interestingly, the multiplayer functions of these games will still work, but server browsing will not be available; for Tribes 2 players, community features such as clan support will not be thee any more.

No reason was given for the server closure. The list of games can be found after the jump.
