Call of Duty is one of the most critically acclaimed game franchise on the market. Due to all of this hype, it’s no surprise that the Internet was sent awry when a supposed Modern Warfare 3 countdown was posted online notifying us of when the next game would be announced. However, Activision came forth to let us know that this site was a hoax and that they would not be revealing anything on March 1st. However, some folks in Canada will be unveiling something.

According to recent reports this website was not launched to be a hoax surrounding a MW3 reveal date but instead was to notify the public that a production group will be releasing a film based on the Modern Warfare series.

Sounds pretty cool, we’ll have to swait and see waht they come up with

Besides turning off the music I’d love to change the language too. Maybe Square Enix is going to improve the site in the near future. At least we get to see some of those real screenshots.
