I don’t know about you guys but ever since the Skate 3 demo hit, I’ve been hooked. Well, EA has come forth and released a new trailer for the game, this time showing a different side of Skate.

As if you couldn’t guess yourself, EA‘s latest Skate title, appropriately named Skate 3, will be getting downloadable content in the future. Now, the game has yet to hit store shelves with a launch date of May 11th, 2010 so no official announcements regarding the DLC’s content was announced. However, considering Skate 2 recieved various new parks and other places to skate I think it’s safe to assume that Skate 3 will have the same.

If you’ve played Skate 2 you’ll recognize the game mode featured in the above Skate 3 trailer which is none other than the Hall of Meat. However, Skate 3 will feature a new and improved Hall of Meat allowing players to gain speed while bailing, aim your body and even push off the ground for added hilarity. Don’t know what I’m talking about? Just watch the above trailer.

We already let you know last week but just as a friendly reminder, the Skate 3 demo is set to hit both the PS3 and Xbox 360 next week on April 15th. While EA hasn’t officially announced it, it’s safe to assume that the demo will featurea trial level much like the one found in both the Skate 1 and 2 demos.
We’ll give you a hands on review as soon as the demo is made available.

The Skate series revolutionized the way we play skateboarding games, it took the Tony Hawk Pro Skater concept and pretty much blew it out of the park. Skate 3, the latest title in the series, looks to expand on that idea and give players the best skateboarding experience to date.
If you’re wondering when the game will be released, EA has just announced that it will be out in North America on May 11th and the rest of the world on May 14th. Be ready.
