Geoff Keighley recently took center stage during a recent Major Nelson podcast to let us know that the first trailer featuring in-game footage of Halo: Reach will make its debut during the Spike VGAs this weekend.

During the podcast, Kieghley had this to say about the game:

“I think it’s going to be the biggest game of next year by far. Folks loved ODST and thought it was great, but when people see the huge leap forward Bungie’s taking with Reach… Everyone I’ve talked to that’s been on the team and seen it is incredibly excited about that game.”

I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been a fan of the Halo series since the original game almost entirely because of its multiplayer. If Halo: Reach takes what was done well in the first 3 games and expands on it, Bungie is sure to have another hit on their hands.
