star trek Seeing as how the J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie is due out this summer, a movie tie-in is no surprise. However, it won’t be a big, retail release, but will be released through PlayStation Network and Xbox Live for the respective platforms.

This comes from a notice included in Star Trek Blu-rays found by Trekmovie. Dubbed Star Trek D.A.C., the game is being developed by Naked Sky Entertainment who previously worked on Roboblitz (PC, Xbox 360).

While no official details are available, Kotaku notes that studio employees list an “unannounced PSN/XBLA title” on their resumes, indicating a downloadable console release.
