Trials HD developer RedLynx has announced that their motorcycle stunt game has passed 2 million in sales on Xbox Live Arcade Marketplace, making it one of the best selling games on the marketplace. Trials HD launched a year and a half ago, and has been selling steadily ever since. It’s safe to assume that RedLynx is working on a sequel, as the Finish based studio revealed that they have six different teams working on six different projects.

While most of the big name titles are released with a legit publisher through various retail outlets, several independently developed games featured within digital distribution outlets like the Xbox Live Arcade have been making quite a splash. Unfortunately, those who don’t have access to broadband connection will be missing out on all of the great titles but Microsoft will be directly targeting such folk with their next move.
It’s been announced today that Microsoft will be bundling three of the best Xbox Live Arcade titles – Trials HD, Limbo and Splosion Man – for retail along with a 48-hour Xbox Live Gold trial and 160 Microsoft Points all for $29.99. Even if you have a broadband connection, this is a great time to get down on all of these titles with the bundle hitting store shelves on April 19th.

Trials HD has proven a huge success on Xbox Live Arcade, becoming one of the best selling games over the past year. Now developer RedLynx has announced that the game has sold 1 million copies after being released on XBLA just over a year ago. RedLynx plans to release a DLC later this year which will include a whopping 40 new maps.

If you’ve been to any Flash game site you’ve without a doubt played Trials or a similar motorbike physics game and chances are, you loved it. Well it seems like us Flash game addicts aren’t the only ones who love the game as RedLynx has recently announced that Trials HD has sold over 300,000 digital copies through the Xbox Live Arcade.
This is an amazing feat as the game topped the big 300k after being on sale for just a month. I think it’s now safe to see we will be seeing several Trials HD sequels, don’t you think?

Earlier this month we let you know that Xbox Live was gearing up to release a series of Xbox Live Arcade titles in a campaigned called the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade.
Well, it seems that these game’s haven’t been selling too well as Micrsoft has recently notified us of a new promotion. Apparantly, if you purchase all 5 games at $70 or 5600 Microsoft Points, Microsoft will thank you by giving you back 800 Micrsooft Points, or $10.
If you haven’t been paying attention, this list of games includes, ‘Splosion Man, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled, Trials HD and Shadow Complex.

Despite announcing a seemingly finalized lineup for the Xbox Live Summer of Arcade, Major Nelson has once again updated his blog, this time notifying us of a change.
Apparantly, instead of TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled launching on July 22nd, ‘Splosion Man will instead take that spot with TMNT launching on August 5th.
Below the updated list:
July 22: ‘Splosion Man 800 Microsoft Points
July 29: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 1200 Microsoft Points
August 5: TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled 1200 Microsoft Points
August 12: Trials HD 1200 Microsoft Points
August 19: Shadow Complex 1200 Microsoft
So, those looking to get their hands on ‘Splosion Man will be able to do so earlier than previously thought.

It seems that Major Nelson has recently updated his blog to notify gamers that there is a whole slew of content on its way to the Xbox Live Arcade this summer. Most of these games we already knew about but this gives us a clear release window and price point for each title:
July 22: TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-shelled 1200 Microsoft Points
July 29: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 1200 Microsoft Points
August 5: ‘Splosion Man 800 Microsoft Points
August 12: Trials HD 1200 Microsoft Points
August 19: Shadow Complex 1200 Microsoft Points
Considering I’m a huge fan of the fighting genre, the only game I will be picking up this summer (off of the XBLA, at least) will be Marvel vs. Capcom 2. What about you guys?
