The excellent, albeit flawed, adventure game Trine has received a 50% discount on Impulse Driven, and is now available for just $10 — it’s worth the price to check out the game, if you ask us. In addition, Impulse has a bunch of other games at 50% off as well.

Despite facing a delay at the end of July, Frozenbyte’s Trine will officially make its way onto the North American Playstation Store this October 22nd.
Make note that European PS3 owners have had their hands on side scrolling platformer for almost 2 weeks now so it’s nice to see that Frozenbyte and Nobilis (publisher) are taking the woes of North American gamers into account.
No word on pricing but we’ll let you know as soon as it’s made known.

Updates to Trine have been released yesterday for the Steam platform. Included in the patch are some glitches fixes along with a repaired Steam Achievements feature. The physics platformer game was released earlier this month for the PC and will be released for the PlayStation Network this month. The full changelog follows:
- Fixed alt-tab crash after 1.02 patch
- Fixed developer controls that broke the game after 1.02 patch
- Fixed Steam Achievements
Trine is probably the most underrated PC title this year, so you should definitely check it out. You can buy the game on Steam for $29.99, or try out the demo free of charge.
Word comes from publisher Nobilis that the PS3 edition of Trine will be half the $40 retail price of the PC edition. It can be noted that while many stores do list the game for less than the MRP, the $29.99 listed on Steam is still more than its PS3 counterpart.
Frozenbyte offered some light on the sure-to-be controversial topic, noting that pricing guidelines were set by the publisher. Their post stated their belief that $30 is a valid price point for a full retail game and that the production values of Trine mark it as such. Additionally, they wrote that the company now has over 20 employees and that they are “confident that. can deliver a full retail experience with Trine.”
You can always check out the recently released PC demo to check out what all the fuss is about.
Having released an awesome demo for the upcoming action-platformer Trine, developer Frozenbyte sent over word that the PC version of the game is now available for preorder on Steam.
The game will cost $30 on Steam – a savings of $10 off the retail price tag – and will also include a free copy of the studio’s co-op, run-and-gun shooter Shadowgrounds as a preorder bonus.
However, don’t mark your calendars yet, as there is still some confusion over the release date: publisher Nobilis announced a July 3 date, though some retailers are listing it for July 10.
If you’re a console gamer, you’re in luck as the PS3 version is expected to be released in a couple of weeks. Xbox 360 gamers will have to wait a while longer as it is due out on Xbox Live Arcade later this year.

Developer of the famed Shadowgrounds series, Frozenbyte has pulled down the curtain on its upcoming PC and PS3 title – a downloadable physics-based action game dubbed Trine.
To be released during Q2 2009, the fantasy-themed game lets players take on the roles of one of three different characters – Thief, Wizard and Warrior – as they fight against the undead. Each character has a different focus – agility, puzzles and strength – that have to be used to get through the game.
