Sony has added two more titles to its PS3 Greatest Hits, this time, the heavyweights and bestsellers Uncharted 2 and God of War 3. The Uncharted 2 version is the GOTY version, which includes lots of new content. Both games will retail for $30. The full list of new games added to the Greatest Hits lineup are:
- God of War III
- Heavy Rain
- ModNation Racers
- UFC Undisputed 2010
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves

Uncharted 2 will be getting its Game of The Year edition soon, and Sony has revealed the box art for the game, and its new contents. It will include a ton of DLC which was released over the past year, either free or for $, in all, $35 worth of DLC. The game will be out on October 12.

To celebrate the success of Uncharted 2, Naughty Dog has just announced that they will be upgrading their offices after 6 years at their current location.
Their new office will be “less than 500 feet away” from their current location and will give the developers more space to allow for expansion. The move will be finalized on March 1st and will definitely point towards an even brighter future for Naughty Dog as they staff their studio further and work towards another great title.

Need more proof that Uncharted 2 is an amazing game? How about the fact that it’s sold 3.5 million units to date making it the fastest selling first party Playstation 3 game of all time.
Couple that with the fact that the game won pretty much all the award there and received pretty much flawless reviews across the board and you have an obvious conclusion; Uncharted 2 kicks ass, go get it now.
I bet Naughty Dog is over there licking their lips about how much money there is to be made with Uncharted 3, whenever it comes out.

Uncharted 2 has gone and pretty much swept every award it was nominated for in the past few weeks, and now it has claimed one of the more important ones: the Writers Guild of America’s game writing award. The award was accepted by Uncharted 2 lead writer Amy Hennig.

One of the best PS3 games of last year, if not the best, Uncharted 2, is set to receive some DLC on February 25, which will be followed with a multiplayer patch as well, which includes trophies for the multiplayer portion of the game. The DLC will include 6 characters from the original Uncharted, plus two new maps, which together will cost $6.

Uncharted 2 has been out for a few months, but we still haven’t seen a demo of the game, for the few people still convinced that this isn’t one of the best games on the PS3. For them, the demo will be available on January 28. For the rest of us, a DLC is planned for release on the same day. The DLC is multiplayer focused and will include new characters from other PS3 games; Sev and a Helghast soldier from Killzone 2, Nathan Hale and a Chimera from Resistance 2, and Cole and Zeke from inFAMOUS. The DLC will cost $5.

Several games are known for having the “double XP” weekend, where, just for a weekend, players will get double up on XP in the game. While Uncharted 2 doesn’t have XP, instead, cash, it’s called double cash weekend, and you better take advantage of it, because cash in Uncharted 2 is used to buy new weapons and upgrades.

While Modern Warfare 2 is ravaging the sales charts these days, Sony quietly announced (and what better time to announce it) that Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has sold over 1 million units on the PS3. However, the number isn’t confirmed with NPD, so we’ll see how much truth there is to it. But for a game of Uncharted 2′s quality not to already sell a million copies, being the most anticipated PS3 title this holiday season, would be a bit disappointing.
