It looks like the Xbox 360 has a new competitor in the field of movie downloads, the Wii. Wait, what? The Nintendo Wii is going to offer movie downloads? Not quite, but almost.

It was recently announced that the Wii will be getting content of it’s own in the form cartoons and other entertainment programs thanks to Nintendo’s partnership with ad agency Dentsu Inc. This is a move by Nintendo to form another revenue stream because, you know, pushing those millions of Wii consoles hasn’t made their wallets fat enough yet.
